AEROBATICS
Among his passions within aviation, is aerobatics. Flying world class airplanes at speeds in excess of 240 miles per hour straight down at the ground, pulling upwards of 10+ Gs without a "G Suit", rolling at over 400 degrees per second, and tumbling nose over tail with gyroscopic forces is the fire that keeps Jordan Wirsz close to the edge.
Known widely as a "maverick," Jordan Wirsz takes off his hat as the CEO of a national corporation, and straps on a flight helmet and parachute to become a member of an elite fraternity of airshow pilots. Very few humans are ever able to see the world from the perspective of an aerobatic pilot. Inverted to vertical, climbing straight up through thousands of feet of speed-bitten air, rolling so fast that the world becomes a splash of blue and green.
Trained by world renowned airshow pilot Greg Poe, Jordan Wirsz has earned an FAA issued low-level aerobatic flight waiver, allowing him to perform at airshows around the country in front of thousands of fans, demonstrating his talent of commanding a 385 horsepower aircraft, weighing only 1100 pounds.
Flying high stakes aerobatics is the Jordan Wirsz method of injecting grade A adrenaline into his vanes, yet never forgetting the seriousness and implications of making a single, potentially fatal mistake.
